Mengniu Group achieved a remarkable feat by
securing three top Gold Awards (Winner) in the categories of Best Children’s Dairy Product, Best Health Innovation, and Best New Brand /
Start-Up. This outstanding performance, complemented by 25 Finalist and 19
Commended recognitions, once again showcased the pinnacle of Chinese dairy
innovation to the world. It further validated Mengniu's consumer health-centric
innovation philosophy as globally leading, solidifying its position as an
outstanding representative of China's dairy innovation prowess.
The World Dairy Innovation Awards (WDIA)
are among the most authoritative and influential accolades in the global dairy
industry, recognizing breakthrough innovative products and benchmark companies
in areas including technology R&D, product design, nutrition & health,
and sustainability. This year's awards attracted over 300 innovative products
from 40 internationally renowned brands across 11 countries. Mengniu's winning
products spanned milk powder, ice cream, fresh dairy, chilled products, sports
nutrition, and packaging, further highlighting its exceptional scientific
research capabilities and breakthrough product innovation.
The Rui Bu En Enzhi Infant Formula, winner
of Best Children’s Dairy Product, is Mengniu's premium
infant formula brand. To develop a comprehensively affinity formula closer to
breast milk fat, Mengniu Rui Bu En collaborated with Jiangnan University on a
dedicated 12-year research program. This resulted in the innovative development
of maternal-derived MLCT (Medium- and Long-chain Triglycerides) combined with
next-gen OPO. This breakthrough achieves a simulation of triglycerides in
infant formula, moving from single-component OPO to a diverse MLCT + next-gen
OPO structure. It leads competing products in comprehensive breast milk fat
similarity scoring and has been pioneeringly applied in Rui Bu En's new
national standard series infant formula. Furthermore, Mengniu Rui Bu En
conducted the industry's first clinical validation study for a maternal-derived
MLCT + next-gen OPO formula. Clinically validated with Chinese infants, the
innovative formula demonstrated 10 significant feeding benefits, showing
superior outcomes in fat absorption, gut comfort, and intestinal development.
This product previously won the 2022 First Prize for Product Innovation from
the Chinese Institute of Food Science and Technology and the 2024 Asia Pacific
Functional Food Industry Award for Infant Nutrition Innovation.
The Delamere Xiaomanyao Aronia Probiotic
Yogurt Ice Cream stood out as the sole product to win dual honors: the Gold
Award for Best Health Innovation and the Silver Award for Best Yogurt. This
remarkable achievement underscores the product's strength in technological
innovation on the international stage. Notably, this marks the second
consecutive year Delamere has won the Gold Award in the health innovation
sub-category at these prestigious international awards.
Staying true to its core concept of
"Instantly Connecting Health and Pleasure," Mengniu's Delamere
Xiaomanyao Aronia Probiotic Yogurt Ice Cream innovatively combines the
"superfood" Aronia berry (Black Chokeberry) with active probiotics,
creating the world's first "Fully Fermented Yogurt Ice Cream." This
product redefines the boundaries of traditional dairy by offering a
"Dual-State Experience": smooth ice cream when frozen, transforming
into rich, flavorful yogurt upon melting. A single delicious cup delivers
multiple health benefits while maximizing emotional satisfaction.
Furthermore, Mengniu's sports nutrition
brand, M-ACTION, was honored as Best New Brand / Start-Up. Its vision is to
become the leading brand in China's professional sports nutrition field,
providing high-quality products to help Chinese sports enthusiasts enhance
performance and overall health. Over the past two years, M-ACTION has achieved
high-quality growth in its DTC (Direct-to-Consumer) channels. Revenue from
Tmall, Douyin (TikTok), JD.com, and WeChat private domains has shown steady
month-on-month growth, with product repurchase rates exceeding the category
average by over 10%. Beyond DTC, M-ACTION is actively expanding its
distribution network through partnerships to further scale the business.
Following the 2025 Chinese New Year, M-ACTION's High-Protein Milk Shake
officially launched in Sam's Club, becoming the retailer's first liquid
high-protein product. This signifies M-ACTION's successful entry into the
high-quality mass active consumer market. Today, the M-ACTION brand serves
millions of users across China who love sports, pursue a healthy lifestyle, and
aspire to achieve better health and well-being.
In recent years, Mengniu has intensified
its innovation efforts focused on holistic health and comprehensive nutrition,

results both domestically and internationally. In 2024, 2'-FL
(2'-Fucosyllactose), a Human Milk Oligosaccharide (HMO) independently developed
by Mengniu's holding company, Hongmo Biotech, received GRAS (Generally
Recognized As Safe) certification from the US Food and Drug Administration
(FDA). Recently, Mengniu's invention patent for "A Formulated Milk
Containing DHA Algal Oil and Its Production Method" won the Silver Award
at the 25th China Patent Awards, the highest honor for China's dairy industry
